Pandora Peaks was a banker when she decided to trade careers and lifestyles.
"I really didn't need dancing," said Pandora. "I don't like to talk about money, but I was doing quite well at the time financially and professionally. I got into the adult business when I did some work for Playboy. They wanted professional women to be in their lingerie book and I thought it would be fun because at that stage of my life I was so stiff all the time.
"You know, I wore the blue suit and all that stuff. It was really exciting, and I met some dancers who told me I should try dancing. One weekend I was ahead at the office, so I took the weekend off and danced! It was a thrill, and I received all of this attention. It gave me so much energy. Guys were handing me money like they were potato chips, but that wasn't important. The excitement was. So, I continued to do this on the weekends and, when Citibank cut out my entire division, I got the movie offer for Do Or Die, an action movie."
Banking and busting out are two different worlds as well as two different time zones.
"Dancing's fun, but when you start at 2:00 p.m. and finish well after midnight, that's a long day. Plus, in modeling there's somebody to do your hair and makeup, which you don't have when you're feature dancing. When I was in London at the John Graham Studio they treated me like a queen."
During her years of modeling and dancing, Pandora got the usual fan comment that every model got back then and still gets now: "When will you do hardcore?"
"Here's the secret. I'm a tease," Pandora said. "You know I am. I just received a letter from one of my fans who said, 'Pandora, quit teasing us and do the REAL thing!' I wrote him back and said, 'Thank you for the biggest compliment you could have given me.' I'm high spirited, but I'm also prim and proper. I mean, I was a banker before I went into this business. I had this professional career where compliments aren't as readily handed out."
