She's A Lulu

She's A Lulu

When Lulu Devine was an entertainer, she flew to clubs around America and Canada. Going through airports was interesting for the people around her.

"I used to be wary of crowds. I would walk through an airport and think people were scowling or snickering and it would bother me. Now, if I see them staring or talking, I go over, introduce myself and shake their hands.

"They don't only gawk, they come up and grab me. Old ladies always want to reach out and touch someone! Most people think it's only the men, but women have much more of an opinion about this than anybody else. They go out of their minds. Don't get me wrong, most of the times it's very favorable, but there are always assholes out there.

"I love giving autographs and talking to people, so I don't mind when people are nice about it because I'm pretty easygoing. When I'm in a supermarket I'll start playing with melons and say to the guys there, 'My melons are bigger than these!' That's my nature."
